Mi mayor virtud para enseñar a esquiar es la paciencia, explico siempre toda la técnica con mucha calma, adaptándome a las capacidades y tiempos de aprendizaje de cada alumno. Mi objetivo es transmitir la pasión que siento por el esquí, siempre de forma divertida y segura.

Mi nombre es Alejandro
Soy instructor de esquí independiente en Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Comencé a esquiar cuando tenía 4 años de edad, este deporte se transformó en pasión y nunca más conseguí parar. De adolescente me divertí haciendo competencias de slalom y slalom gigante, y cuando cumplí los 18 años comencé con el curso de instructor de esquí.
Paralelamente estudié ingeniería mecánica y me gradué. Pero mi corazón siempre dijo que mi destino estaba en la nieve.
Llevo 24 inviernos enseñando este deporte de forma profesional ya que llevo haciendo dos temporadas de esquí cada año desde 2007, en los hemisferios norte y sur. He trabajado en muchas escuelas de esquí en diversos países: Vail (Estados Unidos), Park City (Estados Unidos), YongPyong (Corea del Sur), Pas de la Casa (Andorra), Livigno (Italia) y Bariloche (Argentina).
Anécdotas que tuve a lo largo de estos años como instructor
• Una vez, trabajando en una escuela de esqui en Corea del Sur, tuve que enseñarle a unos chinos que no hablaban ni una palabra de inglés a esquiar.
La clase de esquí se transformó en un dígalo con mímica.. a pesar de todo los 5 alumnos aprendieron a frenar y girar a las 2 horas de clase!
• Una vez tuve una familia brasilera, muy querida, que vino a esquiar con el pequeño Enzo de 2 años. Pero para mi sorpresa, además de los abuelos, también quiso aprender la bisabuela con 78 años de edad!
Sin duda una experiencia sumamente gratificante.
Dónde alojarse
Siempre recomiendo alojarse en el Hotel Mirage.
Con sus vistas impactantes a las montañas y una ubicación tranquila, y próximo al centro de Cortina, es el lugar perfecto para relajarse después de un día largo en las pistas.
También ofrecen servicio de niñera si están viajando con niños.

He was kind and funny and patient and diagnosed accurately each of our major issues and gave us clear simple advice on how to get better. His engineering background shines through. We skied with him in Cortina, but found out that he also teaches in Bariloche and are thinking strongly about visiting him there for more of the same. He’s outstanding and I’d give him a 10 out of 10.
